Not everyone would call Miley Cyrus’s latest work “art,” but Madonna clearly disagrees.
For the month of April, the controversial pop star will serve as the guest curator for Madge’s Art for Freedom, an initiative designed “to fuel free speech – to respond, address and protest persecution and discrimination around the world.”
According to the official press release, the duo will collaborate to choose daily submissions for the Art for Freedom site, which launched last fall.
“Art can speak volumes – I’m glad to join Madonna in encouraging people to have their voices heard at artforfreedom.com,” Miley said in the statement. “It’s an ideal home to see how each of us can participate in changing the world for the better.”
This isn’t the first time Miley and Madonna have worked together. In January, the 21-year-old star invited her friend on-stage to perform a mashup of “Don’t Tell Me” and “We Can’t Stop” during her MTV "Unplugged" appearance.
