Nickelodeon alum Drake Bell has some unkind words for Ariana Grande.
Bell spoke with BuzzFeed about the latest crop of Hollywood stars, and he didn't pull any punches when it came to Grande, with whom he took the stage at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday.
“There’s just a lot of really young, entitled people,” he told BuzzFeed. “I don’t think a lot of these young people have to work very hard. They’re found on YouTube and, boom, thrown into the studio so they think they can get anything they want. Ariana Grande is a billionaire before she’s been an artist. You have to work to be able to appreciate what you have, and what work did she ever have to do in her life?”
The star’s comments are especially interesting considering that Bell’s “Drake & Josh” and Grande’s two Nick series, “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat,” were created by the same person, Dan Schneider.
Bell went on to slam Grande, along with artists like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, for not telling their fans to stop attacking others through social media.
The actor, who has mostly done voice work as Marvel’s Spider-Man in recent years, filed for bankruptcy in February.
