Though MTV’s “Jersey Shore” came to an end in 2012, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is headed back to reality.
That is, The Situation has signed on for a TV Guide Network reality series with his family titled “The Sorrentinos.”
According to “Entertainment Weekly,” Sorrentino is excited for his fans to truly “meet Michael Sorrentino.”
“This next chapter of my life is about sobriety and family, and I’m stoked to take people on this journey with us,” the 31-year-old reality star said (via “EW”).
Aside from him, the show will follow his mother and his three siblings: Marc, Melissa and Frank.
No premiere date has been set for the TVGN docuseries, but The Situation and his family will begin filming next week.
He rose to fame on MTV’s controversial “Jersey Shore,” which concluded its run after six seasons two years ago.
