Here we go again! Diddy announced today that he’s going back to calling himself Puff Daddy.
Born Sean Combs, the rapper-turned-businessman is bringing back the vintage moniker just in time for his new single, “Big Homie.”
The song, for which the full music video is due out next week, features French Montana and Rick Ross, listing the lead performer as Puff Daddy, according to “The Huffington Post.”
After sharing the teaser, he shared links to it on various media sites before noting that he never really left the name behind.
“For the record, I did not change my name. I always have been and always will be PUFF DADDY! J Be cool Man lol,” he tweeted.
It’s been a minute since the star released a new single, with “Coming Home” from 2010 marking his most recent major hit.
