Kanye West will have to be on his best behavior for the time being.
West, who is engaged to reality star Kim Kardashian, gave a no contest plea and was sentenced to two years of probation for misdemeanor battery conviction, CNN reports.
The rap star was accused of assaulting photographer Daniel Ramos at the airport last summer.
Aside from the probation, West will be required to complete 250 hours of community service and the paparazzo will receive restitution.
The photographer is also being represented by Gloria Allred in a civil suit against West.
This is not the performer’s first or last brush with the law. Earlier this year, he reached a settlement with a man he was accused of assaulting in a chiropractic office.
West was also previously arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport in 2008 after reportedly damaging a paparazzo’s camera, but prosecutors chose not to file felony charges.
West will have a few more tour dates in Australia in May, the month he and his fiancé are planning their wedding in Paris.
