Angus T. Jones has no regrets about his controversial exit from “Two and a Half Men.”
The young star, who played the “half man” role on the show for 10 seasons, opened up to KHOU in Houston about his departure and reconciling the show with his faith.
“It was difficult for me to be on the show and be part of something that was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people,” he said. “I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t OK with it and I was still doing it.”
Jones, looking quite different with a bushy beard in the video, did apologize for the manner in which he expressed his feelings about the Chuck Lorre comedy.
“That’s like his baby and I just totally insulted his baby and to that degree I am apologetic but otherwise I don’t regret saying what I said,” he added to KHOU.
The 20-year-old star is a devout Seventh Day Adventist and is currently attending college in Colorado.
