“Game of Thrones” continues to be one of the most talked-about shows on television, but it might be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
Speaking with “Entertainment Weekly,” showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss explain their plans to bring the HBO series to a close.
"It feels like this is the midpoint for us," Benioff told "EW." "If we're going to go seven seasons, which is the plan, season 4 is right down the middle, the pivot point.
While they had previously estimated eight 10-hour seasons, the possibility of only seven could rile up fans.
With season 4 set to begin on April 6, the show is reaching its mid-point, one way or the other.
