“Star Trek” star Chris Pine was arrested and charged with drunken driving in New Zealand.
The Associated Press reports that Pine, 33, was charged with driving over the legal limit of .08 on March 1, and he is set to appear in court on Monday, March 17.
The actor was in the country filming “Z for Zachariah,” an adaptation of the Robert C. O’Brien novel, and the film wrapped the day before the arrest on February 28.
He is believed to have been celebrating finishing the filming, which is due for release next year, with his girlfriend, Iris Bjork Johannesdottir.
Pine will co-star in the post-apocalyptic film opposite “Wolf of Wall Street” star Margot Robbie and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
The star will also appear in “Horrible Bosses 2” with Christoph Waltz later this year as a father-son team of bad bosses, alongside returning stars Charlie Day, Jason Bateman and Jason Sudeikis.
