Only one day after her song’s Oscar win, Idina Menzel – or should we call her “Adele Dazeem” – stopped by “The Tonight Show” to sing her winning song.
On Monday night’s show, Menzel sang “Let It Go” from Disney’s megahit “Frozen,” accompanied by host Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and a slew of classroom instruments, and it was magical.
In spite of the blocks, xylophone, drums and various other instruments, nothing can outshine her signature pipes.
The Broadway star performed the song on Sunday night’s Oscar telecast, which featured an awkward introduction from John Travolta, in which he appeared to have misread her name as “Adele Dazeem.”
Of course, it didn’t stop the song from winning the Best Original Song Academy Award, earning songwriter Robert Lopez the coveted EGOT – winning Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards.
The film, which has made more than $1 billion worldwide, also won the Best Animated Feature category.
