Move over, Mr. Vice President, “Parks and Recreation” has a new D.C. power player coming to Pawnee.
Michelle Obama will cameo on the NBC sitcom’s season finale, according to “Entertainment Weekly.”
The scene will feature the First Lady promoting her “Let’s Move” initiative, and if we know anything about Pawnee, it’s that Sweetums is probably sponsoring some not-so-healthy school lunches.
In an interview with “EW” earlier this week, executive producer Michael Schur also revealed that next season will likely be the show’s last.
“We haven’t talked about it with NBC officially, but for many reasons – mostly just creatively in terms of where we’re building to this year – it would be natural if next year were the last year,” he said. “No decision has been made on that, but it wouldn’t surprise me if next year were the final season.”
This season saw the departures of original cast member Rashida Jones and season 2 addition Rob Lowe.
