Saturday Night Live” is about to get taken over by one of the “Girls.

Lena Dunham will host the late night sketch comedy series for the first time later this spring.

According to the official press release, Dunham will appear on the March 8 episode, which will feature musical guests The National.

“Thank you for the SNL love. Dream come true,” she tweeted about the news. “Can’t wait to debut my character ‘girl who googled serial killers all night & has lots to say!’”

“Girls,” which the young star created and stars in, is partway through its third season on HBO. Season for has already been confirmed to air in 2015.

Before Lena’s debut, Jim Parsons of “The Big Bang Theory” will guest host on March 1, along with performances by Beck.
