Robin Thicke is reaching out to his fans, following the news of his shocking split from Paula Patton after nine years of marriage.
In a statement on his official site, he expressed his gratitude for the support after canceling three tour dates.
“I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days,” he wrote. “My fans mean everything to me. I’m looking forward to getting [back out] on the road…”
The “Blurred Lines” singer confirmed that he would perform in Washington, D.C. on Thursday after cancelling dates in North Carolina, Atlanta and Orlando in the past week, “Us Weekly” reports.
Thicke and Patton announced their split earlier this week in a statement.
“We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” they said (via “Us”).
Thicke has tour dates scheduled for most of March, so it’s good to hear that he’s ready to get back on the horse.
