Chris Brown is showing the world how serious he is about staying on the right track.
E! News reports that the singer has chosen to voluntarily extend his stint in rehab.
Brown was ordered by a judge to spend 90 days in the facility on the recommendation of the probation department. Though his three-month sentence is up, he is continuing to focus on his health and community service.
Brown is still facing misdemeanor assault charges stemming from his arrest in Washington, D.C. last year.
He was accused of breaking a man’s nose, leading the judge to propose rehab in the wake of the singer’s possible probation violation.
“His goal is to gain focus and insight into this past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career form a healthier vantage point, a rep for the star said at the time (via E!).
