When it comes to their desire to bring back a duo of its winter hits, Showtime is “shameless.”
The pay cable net announced Tuesday that “Shameless” and “House of Lies” will return for new seasons, TVLine reports.
Both seasons, set for 12 episodes, will likely debut in early 2015. Now in its third season, “House” has seen something of a creative resurgence this year now that Marty (Don Cheadle) has opened Kaan & Associates.
Meanwhile, season 4 of “Shameless,” which stars Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy, is up a reported eight percent compared to its previous season.
The network has not yet revealed the fate of Matt LeBlanc’s “Episodes,” though a pickup is not out of the question, due to Showtime’s co-financing partnership with the BBC on the series.
Elsewhere on the comedy front, Showtime will premiere the final season of “Californication” in April, along with new episodes of “Nurse Jackie.”
