Justin Bieber is in the spotlight once again, but this time it isn’t in regard to any alleged bad behavior.
According to “Page Six,” the young musician’s Madame Tussauds wax figure is reportedly being retired after having been “groped, fondled and grabbed” by fans.
One insider tells “Page Six” that the statue at the New York location has been badly damaged by the fans, who have stopped to take photos with “Justin” without any kind of barrier.
“This is disappointing, but hopefully we can welcome a new ‘grown-up’ Justin back to the attraction in the near future,” the general manager, Bret Pidgeon, said.
The embattled Bieber has made headlines for all the wrong reasons of late, including arrests on both suspicion of DUI and an alleged assault, as well as the ongoing investigation into the egging of a neighbor’s house that caused an estimated $20,000 in damage.
