While most of the focus on the late Paul Walker’s career has been placed on the “Fast & Furious” franchise, the actor has several other film projects that still have yet to debut.
One of them, an action movie called “Brick Mansions,” will now in theaters on April 25, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”
Relativity and EuropaCorp, who co-financed the film, have also teamed up to make a donation to his charity, Reach Out Worldwide, including the cost of the movie’s premiere.
ROWW is a non-profit that helps rebuilding in post-disaster situations, including last year’s devastating tornadoes in Illinois and Oklahoma.
The film, which co-stars RZA, is “set in a dystopian Detroit with Walker playing an undercover cop who is tasked with going into a tenement named Brick Mansions in order to disarm a neutron bomb that is ticking down.”
“Mansions” is a remake of a French action movie and was written by Luc Besson (“Taken”).
