Taylor Swift threw some subtle shade at her fellow pop stars in a new interview with “Glamour.”

When asked about her decision not to strip down for her performances and music videos in the vein of Miley Cyrus or Rihanna, she said her reasoning was simple.

"I find it relatively easy to keep my clothes on because I don't really feel like taking them off. It's not an urge I have. For me ‘risky’ is revealing what really happened in my life through music,” she said. “Risky is writing confessional songs and telling the true story about a person with enough details so everyone knows who that person is. That's putting myself out there, maybe even more than taking my shirt off."

The “22” singer was pressed further on the progression of her music, and she insists she’s still just Taylor.

"I'm not trying to shed my skin. I'm trying to be a new version of the person I've been my whole life,” she responded. “That's what's held my fans and me together. For a group of millions, it's odd how close I feel to them."
