Most people wouldn’t turn to Miley Cyrus for advice these days, but Justin Bieber might just want to listen up.
The omnipresent pop star appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” where she weighed in on his quickly-expanding rap sheet.
Miley told outgoing host Jay Leno (via “Us Weekly”), “You’ve got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don’t get in trouble and party at your house. Buy a house, and add a club to it.”
But she wasn’t the only one to sound off on the controversy. After Bieber turned himself into Toronto police on an assault charge from December, the city’s own embroiled mayor, Rob Ford, also had some words.
On a D.C.-set radio show, he defended the young singer, saying (via “Time”), “He’s a young guy, 19 years old. I wish I was as successful as he is.”
While that might put things in perspective, it won’t fix his legal situation. Aside from the assault charge, Bieber is due in court on February 14 for allegedly driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest.
