“Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul is no stranger to downward spirals, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t headed for “A Long Way Down.”
A trailer for Paul’s new film, adapted from a Nick Hornby (“About a Boy,” “High Fidelity”) novel, has been revealed.
Digital Spy reports that “Way Down,” which co-stars Toni Collette, Pierce Brosnan and Imogen Poots, follows “four suicidal people who meet on top of a London skyscraper on New Year’s Eve.”
While the description may sound bleak, the film has been billed as a black comedy, as the quartet makes a pact and soon becomes a sort of family.
Yet things soon grow beyond their control, as the four find fame for their unlikely group and things threaten to spiral out of control.
Rosamund Pike (“The World’s End”) and Sam Neil also star in “A Long Way Down,” which will debut in the U.K. this March, with a U.S. release still in the works. What did you think of the trailer? Let us know in the comments!
