With “Sound of Music” an unqualified financial success for NBC, the network is already betting beg on its next big musical project.

NBC announced over the weekend that they will broadcast a live production of the “Peter Pan” musical on December 4, the “New York Times” reports.

The cast has not yet been announced, but NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt revealed that he did have a “dream choice” in mind.

The Peacock’s live “Sound of Music” production, which starred Carrie Underwood, hauled in more than 18 million viewers last month.

The network has had a long history with “Peter Pan,” airing a live production of the musical in 1955, with other versions in 1956 and 1960.
