While some of the biggest names in pop music have already been confirmed to perform at the Grammys, rumor has it one surprise guest could bring down the house.
“The Huffington Post” reports that Beyonce, who is nominated one Grammy on one of her husband Jay Z’s songs, has secretly signed on to perform at the award ceremony.
Though the planned set has not been confirmed, the performance would mark the TV debut of material from her self-titled new album.
“Let’s put it this way… we have a really great history that goes back to the early days of Destiny’s Child,” the show’s producer told the “Los Angeles Times” about a possible performance from Bey. “I love working with [Beyonce]. She’s incredible.”
But that’s not all, as Madonna is also reportedly going to guest on a performance from one of the nominees.
Musicians set to pull double duty as nominees and performers include Taylor Swift, Lorde, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, as well as Imagine Dragons with Kendrick Lamar.
The Grammys will air Sunday, January 26 on CBS. What song should Beyonce perform? Who do you think Madonna will sing with? Let us know in the comments!
