After being accused of trying to break up the Black Eyed Peas, Josh Duhamel is going on record to end the rumors.
Radar Online reported that the actor was trying to split the group up so his wife, Fergie, “can re-invent herself as a solo artist without the looming specter or will.i.am influencing every creative decision she makes.”
Now Duhamel has spoken on Facebook, claiming that nothing could be further from the truth, “Us Weekly” reports.
“Don’t believe this bulls***,” he wrote. “Not true.”
Fergie has made it clear that she is planning a solo follow-up to her smash hit, “The Dutchess,” which was released back in ’06, while the most recent BEP album, “The Beginning,” came out in 2010.
Though her plans were pushed back after she welcomed her son with Duhamel, she says the new album will come in due time.
Duhamel, who tied the knot to Fergie in January 2009, most recently starred in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’s “Safe Haven.”
