Justin Bieber’s close friend was arrested at his residence for drug possession this week, and his legal troubles aren’t over yet.
E! News reports that rapper Xavier "Lil Za" Smith was set to be released after police reportedly learned that the drugs in question were MDMA and not cocaine.
He tweeted a simple message upon his original release this morning, writing, “I’m fine.”
However, Lil Za has since been arrested again for allegedly vandalizing a phone while preparing to leave police custody, with bail now set around $75,000.
The rapper was originally taken into custody after police raided Bieber’s home following the egging of his neighbor’s home, in which he is a suspect.
The egging caused a reported $20,000 in damage to the house, and Lt. Steve Whitmore spoke out about the repairs.
“The houses in that neighborhood are of a quality that any damage is going to be extensive,” Whitmore said (via E!). “So they had some imported wood and brick and that was significantly damaged.”
