In most situations, egging a house seems like a childish yet ultimately harmless prank, but when Justin Bieber gets involved, the situation is certainly no laughing matter.
TMZ reports that the L.A. County Sheriff sent eleven patrol cars to execute a felony search warrant on the singer’s home after his neighbor accused him of egging his house.
Police sources told TMZ that they were not searching Bieber’s home for eggs, but believed he might have surveillance footage of the alleged incident and are said to have seized his security system.
TMZ released their own video of the altercation, which reportedly led the Sheriff’s office to pursue a search warrant.
During the investigation, the singer’s friend, rapper Lil Za, was arrested for alleged cocaine possession in the 19-year-old’s home, but Bieber was “not connected” to the drugs.
Per TMZ, the neighbor claims the eggs caused $20,000 in damage to his home, and that figure could explain the decision for the felony search warrant.
