It’s finally here! Shakira’s duet with Rihanna bowed on Monday, and we certainly won’t “forget” it anytime soon.
The track, “Can’t Remember to Forget You,” is an upbeat pop song with just a tinge of reggae that makes it a great deal of fun, Vulture reports.
“[W]orking with [Rihanna] was utopia,” Shakira told “Glamour” of their collaboration. “She’s the sexiest woman on the planet. And at the end of the day, we’re both just basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher.”
The pair teased the track earlier this month online, first announcing the song’s release and later unveiling the single artwork.
“Can’t Remember” is the first single off of Shakira’s forthcoming album, which is expected to debut this spring. The singer will also return for the next cycle of “The Voice” when it returns in February.
