Zoe Saldana is an A-list movie star, so it makes sense that her big return to television is in a remake of a legendary film.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actress will star in NBC’s miniseries adaptation of “Rosemary’s Baby,” where she’ll take on the iconic role originated by Mia Farrow.
According to Zap2it,” she’ll play Rosemary, “a young wife who becomes pregnant and begins to suspect that her husband and her neighbors in her Paris apartment building are planning something strange for her child.”
The miniseries will mark Saldana’s return to television after a long absence. She last appeared on “Six Degrees” back in 2007.
The rest of the cast has not yet been announced, though it would be fun if Farrow returned to play Minnie.
If not, after “Coma” and “Flowers in the Attic,” Ellen Burstyn seems like a shoo-in to take on the late Ruth Gordon’s role.
