Sarah Jessica Parker might not be ready to say goodbye to Carrie Bradshaw just yet.
The “Sex and the City” star tells “InStyle” that she could certainly see a third and final installment in the film series in the future.
“A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell,” she said (via Zap2it). “But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait forever. I don’t want to have to wear muumuus!”
After six seasons on HBO, the comedy series spawned two successful feature films. Though Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall have expressed uncertainty in the past, their co-star, Kristin Davis, thinks a threequel is more than a dream.
“I don’t think [a third film] is a pipe dream, there is discussion,” she told “Haute Living.” “People talk about it amongst the people who are the players, but I don’t know if it will come together! It woud be very exciting if it did.”
Since “Sex and the City 2,” Parker has starred in “I Don’t Know How She Does It” and “New Year’s Eve,” along with a recurring role on “Glee.”
