Get ready to say goodbye to “How I Met Your Mother” because the show is coming to a close sooner than you think.
CBS announced Thursday that the long-running comedy series will conclude its run with a one-hour finale on Monday, March 31, TVLine reports.
The show’s swan song will lead into the new comedy “Friends with Better Lives,” which stars James Van Der Beek and model Brooklyn Decker.
According to the official description, the series follows six friends in their 30s in different places in their lives who “each secretly question if the other have it better.”
“FWBL” will then move to the Monday at 8:30pm slot the following week, leading out of a “Big Big Theory” encore on April 7 before “2 Broke Girls” returns at 8pm on April 14.
