Though she was spurned in the Grammy Awards' Best New Artist category, New Zealand upstart Lorde will be bringing her phenomenal success to North America in 2014 for a 16-date tour that kicks off March 3 in Austin, Texas and wraps 23 days later in Oakland, Calif.
The trek also includes a two-night stand at New York's Roseland Ballroom on March 11-12, but the itinerary makes a speculated appearance at the South By Southwest Music + Media Conference from March 11-16 seem unlikely.
The 17-year-old singer and songwriter's debut album, "Pure Heroine," debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 during October and has already been certified triple platinum in her homeland.
Her single "Royals" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been certified platinum, while "Team" is currently climbing the charts.
Despite the Best New Artist slight, Lorde is nominated for four other Grammys, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Royals" and Best Pop Vocal Album" for "Pure Heroine."
