Though Showtime gave “Episodes” a breather before its third season, the network is not ready to let the show go.
Ahead of the third season premiere on January 12, the pay cable channel has announced that the show will return for a nine-episode fourth season as well, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”
“Episodes,” which stars Matt LeBlanc as an exaggerated version of himself, is co-produced by Showtime and the BBC.
Additionally, “THR” reports that season 3, which also consists of nine episodes, will “pick up with Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Greig) back together, while Matt (LeBlanc) continues to see his career and his ego be pummeled.”
The show aired its second season finale in the States in July 2012, marking a year-and-a-half gap between seasons.
“Episodes” will air on Sunday, January 12 at 10:30, following new episodes of “Shameless” and “House of Lies.” Are you excited that the Matt LeBlanc comedy will be back for season 4?
