It’s a boy! Kate Winslet welcomed her third child this week.
A rep for the star confirmed (via CBS News) that the “Labor Day” actress gave birth on Saturday to a baby boy, who is “doing great.”
The name of Winslet’s son has not yet been revealed, but the boy is her first child with husband Ned Rocknroll.
The actress married Rocknroll, the nephew of Virgin founder Richard Branson, back in 2012 and confirmed the pregnancy in June.
Winslet has two children from her previous marriages, a 13-year-old daughter named Mia and a 9-year-old son named Joe.
Aside from the January debut of “Labor Day” with Josh Brolin, Winslet can look forward to the highly-anticipated release of the new young adult adaptation of “Divergent.”
In the film, she plays the authoritarian Jeanine Matthews, who is attempting to stamp out “divergents,” or anyone who does not fall into one of their society’s divisions based on personal traits.
