A man was arrested this week for allegedly stealing a piece of the car responsible for killing “Fast & Furious” star Paul Walker.
CNN reports that the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department believe an 18-year-old removed part of the Porsche Carrera GT from the tow truck carrying the car.
“A witness saw a male exit a vehicle that was following the tow truck,” the department said Friday (via CNN). “The male grabbed a piece of the wrecked Porsche off the tow truck bed.”
Along with the arrest, police reportedly found a red T-top roof panel and have identified a second suspect who is said to be surrendering himself.
Though charges have not yet been filed, the pair could be charged with felony grand theft and tampering with evidence.”
Walker was a passenger in the Porsche when his friend, Roger Rodas, crashed. The actor passed away from the “combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.”
