While Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his wife (Robin Wright) on “House of Cards” seem to be fueled by ambition more than love, they’ll be back on the most romantic day of the year.
“USA Today” reports that the Netflix binge-watching favorite will return on Valentine’s Day, with all 13 season 2 episodes set for release at 3:01am ET on February 14.
“Francis and Claire Underwood continue their ruthless rise to power as threats mount on all fronts,” the plot synopsis reads (via “USA”). “The Underwoods must overcome these dangers – past and present – to avoid losing everything, regardless of collateral damage they leave in their wake.”
Friends old and new will pose threats to the power couple, including Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara), journalist and Frank’s former flame, as well as President Walker (Michel Gill) and his “billionaire confidant (Gerald McRaney).
First, Netflix will unveil a new animated series, “Turbo FAST,” based on the DreamWorks hit “Turbo,” Deadline reports.
The first five episodes will debut on Tuesday, December 24, with more episodes planned to roll out in 2014.
