Rihanna has become notorious for her outrageous behavior, but that doesn’t mean the girl is any less of a great singer.
The “We Found Love” singer released the new video for her latest single, “What Now,” and the ballad is a return to the pre-“bad girl” RiRi.
The simple video is nearly colorless, with Rihanna alone in a room contorting her body while belting out the somber track.
“What Now” is the latest single from her 2012 “Unapologetic” LP, which also included songs like “Stay” and “Right Now.” Notably, this year marks the first year since 2008 that Rihanna has not released a new album.
According to “USA Today,” the performer will also be awarded the first-ever American Music Awards icon at the AMAs. The ceremony is set to air Sunday, November 24 at 8pm on ABC.
