Tom Cruise is a world-famous movie star, but one person who isn’t a fan: Mark Wahlberg.
The “Transformers: Age of Extinction” actor took issue with Cruise’s comments in a recent deposition alleged comparing his work to a tour in Afghanistan, TMZ reports.
“For actors to sit there and talk about, ‘Oh, I went to SEAL training?’ I don’t give a f*** what you did,” Wahlberg said while speaking at the AFI Festival in Los Angeles (via TMZ). “For somebody to sit there and say, ‘My job was as difficult as being in the military,’ how f***ing dare you, while you sit in a makeup chair for two hours.”
Wahlberg, whose new SEAL Team 10-inspired movie “Lone Survivor” is due out in January, appears to be referring to Cruise’s answer when asked about his lawyers comparing his absence from his daughter Suri to “someone fighting in Afghanistan.”
“I didn’t hear the Afghanistan, but that’s what it feels like and certainly on this last movie it was brutal, it was brutal,” he reportedly replied (via TMZ).
