As we head into the holiday season, the cable networks are planning a gift of their own: the return dates for some of your favorite series.
First up, FX has lined up the its winter premiere schedule, with the fifth season of “Justified” set to begin on Tuesday, January 7, according to “The Futon Critic.”
While comedies like “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “The League” migrated over to FXX, “Archer” returns to FX on Monday, January 13.
That same night, another animated series called “Chozen,” about a white rapper fresh out of jail, will also premiere.
Syfy is also set to debut a new drama called “Helix” from “Battlestar Galactica” creator Roger Moore on Friday, January 10.
Per “Entertainment Weekly,” the show is a thriller in which the CDC faces a dangerous outbreak, though it turns out that “the lethal threat is just the tip of the iceberg, and as the virus evolves, the chilling truth begins to unravel.”
Lastly, HBO has scheduled the fourth season premiere of “Treme,” which returns with five final episodes on Sunday, December 1. Check out the season trailer here, which takes place 38 months after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
