Amanda Bynes might make it home to spend the holidays with her family, at least according to a new report by TMZ.
An exact date has not been set, but the troubled starlet’s treatment has allegedly “stabilized her so her doctors will let her leave the Malibu rehab facility where she’s been held since September,” sources tell TMZ.
If true, Bynes would be released into the care of her mother, Lynn, who has a conservatorship over her daughter’s medical and financial decisions.
The star was taken into police custody earlier this year after she reportedly set fire to a neighbor’s driveway.
The 72-hour psychiatric hold has been extended long-term, with Bynes said to have moved from UCLA Medical Center to the facility in Malibu.
Insiders tell TMZ that Bynes has not permitted to go outside despite the success of her medication and therapy, as paparazzi have been swarming the facility for weeks.
