Nobody has moves like Jagger, not even Mick Jagger himself, at least according to Katy Perry.
The pop star, whose latest album “Prism” debuted at no. 1 this week, said during an Australian radio interview that Jagger had unsuccessfully tried out his moves on her nearly a decade ago.
“USA Today” reports that Perry, 29, sang backing vocals on “Old Habits Die Hard,” a song the iconic Rolling Stones musician recorded with Eurythmics star David Stewart back in 2004.
During that time, she had dinner with Jagger, during which she claimed that “he hit on me when I was 18.”
While Perry also stated that he had been “very kind to her,” the legendary rocker is fighting back.
His rep released a statement, which says that Jagger “categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry,” adding, “Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else.”
Interestingly, the pair reunited earlier this year during the Rolling Stones’ 50 & Counting Tour.
The “Unconditionally” singer joined Jagger and the rest of the Stones on stage perform “Beast of Burden” in Las Vegas back in May.
