The countdown is on with less than one month until “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” hits theaters.
Over the weekend, Lionsgate released the final trailer for the Jennifer Lawrence-fronted blockbuster, which will be released on November 22.
“Miss Everdeen, you fought very hard in the arena, but they were games,” the villainous President Snow (Donald Sutherland) says in a voiceover. “Would you like to be in a real war?”
The minute-long preview shows Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) back in the arena, whereas past trailers have mostly focused on her return with Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) to their district and their ensuing victory tour.
Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson and Stanley Tucci also return, along with newcomers Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Finnick Odair, Johanna Mason and Plutarch Heavensbee, respectively.
The preview dropped during Game 4 of the World Series in a promotional event called “Catching Fire Sunday.”
