For those eagerly awaiting Taylor Swift’s latest single since the release of “Red,” there’s good news and bad news.

A new track called “Sweeter Than Fiction” from the crossover artist has been released, but it not Taylor’s new single.

Instead, the ‘80s throwback, which feels like a mix of Taylor and the “Pretty in Pink” classic “If You Leave,” has made its way onto the soundtrack for a British film called “One Chance.”

According to “Vulture,” the Simon Cowell-produced feature follows “an opera-singing sensation after he wins ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2007.”

Taylor co-wrote the song with fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff, which stars James Corden as Paul Potts, the singer in question.

“One Chance” also stars Jemima Rooper (“The Black Dahlia”), Julie Walters, Colm Meaney (“Hell on Wheels”) and “Pirates of the Caribbean” star Mackenzie Crook.
