Kelly Clarkson
is clearly getting into the Christmas spirit.

Less than two weeks before the release of her debut Christmas album, “Wrapped in Red,” the “American Idol” winner has announced that she has filmed her first holiday special as well.

According to RCA Records’ official release, the NBC special, titled “Kelly Clarkson’s (Cautionary) Tale,” will air closer to the holiday itself, while “Wrapped in Red” is due out on October 30.

Though no further news about the Kelly’s “Tale,” which films in Las Vegas on October 30th, though there might be a narrative involved based on the name of the special.

The first single from the record will be a new song, “Underneath the Tree.” In addition to the title track, which is also an original track, the album features classics like “Run Run Rudolph” and “White Christmas.”

Clarkson joins Lady Gaga, who also has a holiday special with the Muppets in development over at ABC.

Whose Christmas special would you rather watch: Kelly’s or Gaga’s?
