Three’s a crowd for Mike Myers’s family, which is why the actor and his wife Kelly Tisdale are expecting their second child.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum and his wife “are thrilled” to welcome a new sibling for their two-year-old son, Spike, “People” reports.
“Anyone who tells you fatherhood is the greatest thing that can happen to you, they are understating it,” he told Deadline. “I am the happiest I have ever been in my life.”
Myers, 50, and his wife, 36 got hitched in 2010. Since leaving “SNL,” he is best known for his title roles in both the “Austin Powers” and “Shrek” franchises.
Aside from a cameo in “Inglourious Basterds” in 2009, he has mostly stayed off-camera over the past few years.
Myers recently directed his first film, a documentary called “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon,” which features appearances from Michael Douglas and Sylvester Stallone and is set for release in 2014.
