Leading up to the release of her new album, Katy Perry is treating her fans as if every day was their collective “Birthday.”

One week before “Prism” is released on October 22, the singer unveiled 90-second previews of every song on the album on iTunes, including previously unheard tracks like “Birthday,” “Ghost” and “Double Rainbow.”

According to MTV News, Perry tweeted late on Monday:

Of course, also getting a preview is Perry’s fifth track, “Unconditionally,” which will be released as a single on the same day as the album.

While “Roar” was a pounding pop track, her new power ballad comes in the vein of “Part of Me” and “Wide Awake.”

Releasing snippets of songs or even the full tracks is becoming a more common practice, with Miley Cyrus streaming her entire record on iTunes for a full week before “Bangerz” officially debuted.
