CBS’s “We Are Men” might want to change its name to “We Are Cancelled.”
After airing only two episodes, the comedy series has been immediately pulled from Monday nights, with “2 Broke Girls” moving into the show’s 8:30pm slot.
At 9pm, “Big Bang Theory” reports will temporarily fill the slot before “Mike & Molly” returns on November 4, according to "The Hollywood Reporter."
CBS is likely hoping for stability on Monday nights, with both “2 Broke Girls” down this year and freshman series “Mom” and “Hostages” underperforming.
While “Mike & Molly” was initially benched from the fall schedule, the Melissa McCarthy-starring series is a modest but reliable hit and was picked up for a full season in May.
“Men” joins “Lucky 7” on the cancellation heap, with ABC’s anemic “Betrayal” among other new fall shows not likely to make it more than a few weeks.
