While the media has been in a frenzy over the rumored breakup of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, perhaps they should have been paying closer attention to another Kardashian marriage.
Kris Jenner confirmed to “Us Weekly” that she and her husband of 22 years, Olympian Bruce Jenner, have separated.
“We are living apart,” she said. “But there is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family.”
Kris adds that they have no current plans to divorce, saying, “We ended a marriage, but that’s not the end of our friendship. I will always love him, but we are no longer a couple in that way.”
The momager says that she and Bruce kept the split a secret from their children for an entire year.
Together, the pair have two children, 17-year-old Kendall and 16-year-old Kylie. Kris has four children from her previous marriage to the late Robert Kardashian, while Bruce has four from multiple past relationships.
It’s unclear how the separation will be handled on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians, though a recent episode did show Kris renting a house for Bruce to live in with their two girls over the summer.
