What do you get when center a movie around a group of squirrels decide to rob a nut store? “The Nut Job,” of course.

The latest animated feature stars Will Arnett (CBS’s “The Millers”) as the lead squirrel in question, alongside characters voiced by Brendan Fraser, Maya Rudolph, Liam Neeson and Katherine Heigl.

According to “Entertainment Weekly,” the family-friendly movie follows the “mischievous Surly (Arnett) and his rat friend Buddy, who plan a nut store heist and unwittingly find themselves embroiled in a much more complicated and hilarious adventure.”

As they attempt to break in to Maury’s Nut Shop before winter hits, the squirrels will have to contend with group conflicts, a grumpy pug, and… peanut brittle?

Comedian Jeff Dunham, Stephen Lang (“Avatar”) and up-and-comer Sarah Godon (“The Amazing Spider-Man 2”) also star.

“The Nut Job” will hit the big screen in 3D on January 17, 2014.
