“Bonnie & Clyde” are back, and this time, the infamous pair is taking over three major cable networks.
The four-hour event series will roll out over two nights in December, airing simultaneously across Lifetime, A&E and History.
The miniseries stars Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger (“The Borgias”) as the titular couple, a “Depression-era outlaw couple whose criminal exploits have assured them lasting fame for eight decades,” according to The Futon Critic.
The first trailer, set to Nancy Sinatra’s “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down),” doesn’t shy away from the couple’s gun-slinging history, while also spotlighting Bonnie Parker’s love of the finer things in life.
Holly Hunter and William Hurt play the key roles of Bonnie’s mother and the Texas Ranger on the pair’s trail, respectively.
Elizabeth Reaser (“The Good Wife”) and “Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland also star.
“Bonnie & Clyde” will air on Sunday, December 8 and Monday, December 9 at 9pm. Will you be watching?
