Slash bears Fergie and her husband, actor Josh Duhamel, no ill will for naming their son after Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose.
Slash and Rose, of course, remain estranged after the guitarist's 1996 departure from the band the two co-founded, but he's been friendly with Fergie for a long time and she even co-wrote and sang "Beautiful Dangerous" for his self-titled 2010 album.
Slash told TMZ that he thinks the name "is really cool. I actually talked to them yesterday. It's all good. Who am I to judge?"
Slash, meanwhile, tells us that working with Fergie is among the highlights of his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career:
"I had this one song that sounded very sort of sexy, and...I called her up and went to her house and gave her a tape of it, and she called me up a week later and said, 'Yeah, I've got lyrics and melody for that' and she came over to my demo studio and put down 'Beautiful Dangerous,' and I was just enamored with the whole thing. I was like, 'Wow, this is great!' And so that was it. It became a track on the record. She came down and she did the finished vocal, and it was great."
