Fall is turning out to be the season of the princess biopics.
Closely following the Naomi Watts-starring Princess of Wales drama “Diana,” the first look at “Grace of Monaco” has been released.
According to “Deadline,” Nicole Kidman stars as Grace Kelly in the 1960-set film, which takes place when “Kelly was married to Monaco’s Prince Rainier III (Tim Roth), and during a political dispute between the principality and France.”
The film also stars Frank Langella, Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia (AMC’s upcoming mafia drama “Mob City”) and Paz Vega.
“Grace” will likely be shooting for a stronger reception than “Diana,” which garnered mixed reviews based on both the script and Watts’s performance as Diana.
While “Grace of Monaco” will debut on November 29 in the U.K., the film does not yet have a U.S. release date.
