After months of rumors plaguing the couple, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have officially called it quits.
According to “People,” reps for both stars have confirmed that the engagement is over.
Just this week, Miley unfollowed her now ex-fiance on Twitter, signaling that something was clearly amiss in their relationship.
The Twitter drama came after reports surfaced that he had been cheating with “Mad Men” star January Jones, according to “The Huffington Post.”
The couple has not been seen together much in the past several months, with the exception of last month’s premiere of “Paranoia,” in which Liam starred.
Some have taken her breakup ballad “Wrecking Ball” as a public acknowledgement of her rocky engagement.
For his part, Liam was spotted with friends Sunday night at a Floyd Mayweather boxing match in Las Vegas.
The actor has not spoken out about his fiance’s controversial performance at the MTV VMAs in August. He will next appear on screen in November’s “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."
